Welcome: A word from our Founder
Welcome to YTM Leadership. So grateful you stopped by. Having had 38 years of ministry and non-profit experiences as a leader, I love meeting leaders and teams that seek to serve people with a sincere heart. I believe a lot of leadership success comes from heart-work, and not just skills-work. From my experience of empowering and reproducing diverse leadership pipelines, I am convinced that every ‘image bearer’ or creation of human beings come stocked with their own leadership gifts or ‘magic’. No snowflake of human beings or leaders are the same. And those of us who desire to come alongside leaders and teams to assist them to be all that they were created to be, our role is to just stand back and re-direct, remind or lead the re-discovery of each person or each team’s own ‘magic’ so they are able to come up with the best solutions to the challenges they face. At YTM (You’re The Magic) Leadership, that is our invitation to you.

With over 35 years in ministry with Cru, my passion is creating a sacred space for you to encounter God directly. In our spiritual direction sessions, I step back to allow God's experience to be the focus, honoring the opportunity to help you discern how God is speaking to you in your current life.
My approach is grounded in my MA in Spiritual Formation & Soul Care from Talbot Theological Seminary, alongside extensive experience and training. I also integrate my approach from my work as a certified life coach with Leader BreakThru.
Having held various leadership roles, I have a deep heart for God's leaders. I believe that together in community, we can support one another toward wholeness and spiritual growth. I welcome you to this space, where we will focus on your heart and whole being, supporting you as you seek to discern God's ways in your life and ministry.
I live in California with my husband and two dogs, and I cherish staying connected with our two young adult children. I enjoy traveling and am a BTS and K-Drama fan.

I believe deeply in creating hospitable spaces for people to encounter God. I began my journey with spiritual direction when I was longing for some new ways to connect with God. I love being curious and companioning and attuning to others stories but even more I love when others are reminded that they have agency to meet with God who loves them deeply.
Whether you are desiring deeper growth with God or don’t even know if you believe God still exists or anything else I would love to journey with you wherever you are. I believe that all people, no matter your story, are worth being known and seen and loved.
I have a degree in Spanish and am able to offer direction in Spanish as well. I also work as a chaplain with professional athletes as well as being certified as a professional coach doing work with Emotional Intelligence and Cultural Intelligence. My partner, Jake and I have 3 very active boys and love to play and be outside.
I would love to meet you and share more with you.

I grew up in Philadelphia and have enjoyed living and working in both cities and rural areas around the US (Pennsylvania, Washington DC, Santa Barbara and Costa Mesa CA). Through serving in a Cru for 20 years I’ve had the opportunity to experience God in incredible ways and have a front row seat to God working in people and situations. Spiritual direction became a lifeline when I was at my most significant leadership role in ministry and felt further from God than any other point in my life. Through spiritual direction I discovered God in my deepest seasons of doubt and disillusionment as well as fostering a deeper understanding of God’s love and delight. Spiritual direction can be helpful if you are hoping to navigate struggles or doubt, develop new ways of engaging with God, and recognizing the presence of God. My hope is that you would experience a hospitable space where you can encounter God without expectation.
My educational background includes a Bachelors in American History and Political Science as well as a certificate in Spiritual Direction. I am also a certified life coach, emotional intelligence and cultural intelligence facilitator. My wife (Jen) and I have three boys and greatly enjoy spending time outside playing soccer, enjoying nature and especially swimming in the ocean.
